The UF/IFAS Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Plant Guide is an advisory horticultural-selection resource. Final plant acceptability should be checked against federal and Florida regulatory sources, including federal noxious weed, import, ESA/CITES, Florida noxious weed, Florida prohibited aquatic plant, and Florida regulated native plant lists. Advisory invasive-plant lists and UF/IFAS assessments are useful additional screens but do not override federal or Florida prohibitions.
